Bicycle sharing systems allow people to rent a bicycle from a “station” or a dock and return it at same or another station within the system. Stations are special bicycle racks that lock the bicycle, and only release it by a computerized controlled mechanism. The user directly enters the payment information to the computer near the station, visa cards should be used for this process, and the computer unlocks a bicycle. After unlocking the bicycle, time count begins and the fee will be deducted based on the overall time of rent. The user returns the bicycle to the same station or another station within the system by placing it in the dock which locks it in place and the time count stops and payment statement is released.
